Jordan Haley is in the process of moving to the Philippines as a missionary. He has the desire and opportunity to do sports ministry through a missionary school called Faith International Academy (FIA). Jordan will be the Athletic Director and teach Bible at FIA and will have the opportunity to do community outreach with this position as well. Jordan has lived in Ethiopia half his life as his parents did mission work there and now wants to go to the mission field as well. Jordan is a committed follower of Christ and has a burden to share the gospel. Jordan is supper excited for this opportunity in Davao Philippines and looks forward to partnering with you to make this mission a reality.

Davao City is a major city in the Philippines where the majority of the population is Roman Catholic. While around 18% of the population belongs to other Christian groups, including Evangelicals, there is a significant need for the gospel. Many people may go their whole lives without meeting an Evangelical Christian.
The local culture can also involve syncretic practices, where other beliefs are mixed with Catholicism. Additionally, there is a notable Muslim population in the region that needs to hear the gospel. I want to use sports which is a universal connection to build relationships to share the gospel.
